I was a little girl in a trailer way up on a mountain called Dos Rios in a small town called Laytonville . I ran all over those country hills with just my imagination and the countryside to keep me busy . I didn't realize it then but that life helped me be the creative free person I am today!


every morning I get up and get lost in my shop I love to make wonderful neat different beautiful gowns. fabric has become my medium. every week I go searching for different fabric from thrift stores garage sales whatever I can find that catches my eye and I take it home like a kid takes home candy !
When someone places a custom order I get giddy knowing I am going to make something that know one else will ever own its definitely a high and I'm loving it!
I would have to say I get lost in the romance of my wedding gowns , my spirit really sets free knowing I'm making something for a day of love family and laughter .
I start with a sketch and then go to feeling fabrics, holding old lace as if I'm feeling the energy in each piece I use .it may sound odd but creating a wedding dress for a client takes an amazing amount of energy out of me even before I start sewing I feel its my responsibility to feel there energy through our conversations and create something that has real connection with them :)

I really hope I'm teaching my children that their is so much wonder and magic in life as long as you find out what makes you happy and you fallow your heart :)
